Hi, I am Dr. Jeff. I will try to help you. Please feel free to follow up if any more information is needed. The two common reasons for these signs include reflux and hairballs. So, it may be worth trying a 1/4 tablet of pepcid AC or tagament twice daily. This will reduce stomach acid production and could help. Hairball remedies also exist. There are various brands available at pet stores, vet clinics, etc. My practice carries laxatone, but there are many options. If these options are not helping, then it may be worth a vet visit. Your vet could follow up with the diabetes management and also investigate the other less common issues that are possible such as obstruction, tumors, gastritis, etc.
I hope this helps and gives you direction.
