My kitten's anus is swollen, bright red, and bleeding. She doesnt seem to be in pain but has the runs really bad.

I suspect little Bella has a lot of roundworms and the diarrhea is causing her anus to become inflammed and swollen. She needs to be dewormed with some pyrantel pamoate, which you may be able to find at a pet store or a feed store. The brand name is Strongid T. I would generally dose it at 1 ml /10 pounds body weight, so Bella would probably get 0.3 ml. Give it once a week for 4 weeks.

I would also put warm compresses (moisten a wash cloth with warm water) on her bottom to help with the inflammation. Cool compresses might feel good, too.

If she is lethargic, not wanting to eat, vomiting, or if it looks like her intestines are pushing out (or like hemorrhoids), then you need to get her seen by an emergency vet.
