Hello there,

Augmentin is the same thing as Clavamox. The Augmentin can be used if it is 50 mg amoxicillin and 12.5 mg clavulonic acid per ml.

We have a 200 mg amoxicillin with 28.5 mg clavulanate Potassium for oral suspension that my husband who is an M.D. says should work if divided to the correct amount, is this ok?
Expert:  Dr. Scott replied 7 years ago.
It will work if divided by 4. Clavamox is used at 1 ml per 10 pounds body weight every 12 hours.

Thank you. I am very anxious about this! I think he is mad at me for not trusting him with this. So thanks again!
