I have a question about poor r wave progression. I have a
I have a history of chest pain though rare instances. The pain would be left chest, left arm and sometimes right arm and left jaw. When that occurs i wait the symptoms out and assume stress related. Have had a feww negative stress tests in the past. I have a hx of heart palpitations for which take metoprolol. In the past year this has become more exertional with heart pounding. This comes and goes to very bothersome to none at all. I have shortness of breath with exertion ie carrying things, going up steps, going uphill presumed related to out of shape. Have been hospitalized 3 times in the last 2 years with bronchitis/asthma. I have long history of extreme fatigue related to fibromyalgia or possibly an autoimmune disorder. Recently had 2 days of described chest pain. On the 3rd day took a triptan for migraine headache and the pain returned more severe. I did not have evaluation. Maybe a week or so later had a routine ekg prior to scheduled foot surgery for fracture. This EKG was read by a cardiologist as NSR with poor r progression abnormal ekg. Nothing was mentioned to me about this but saw in my chart. All other ekgs have been normal. I am 5'1 and weight about 165 lbs. I had surgery without difficulty. I questioned my PCP but he was unconcerned and recommended no further testing as had negative stress echo 2 yrs ago. At that time had a stressful event and mild episode chest pain. I have a very strong family history. Mild elevation cholesterol not on any rx. Prior hx elevated hs-crp. Not sure if this is of any concern or not. … read more
