What can an EKG test tell you?

Cardiologist’s Answer: EKG gives us a lot of information.
It can show if there is a heart attack or myocardial infarction.
It can show the rate & rhythm of the heart
If it is beating rapidly or irregularly it will show in an EKG.
It can give an impression whether there is any enlargement of the heart chamber.
It can also show changes in electrolyte levels in the blood, particularly potassium.

Not me. My husband complains about chest tightness. He went to the urgent care. He is 55. No heart issue that he was aware of but has high blood pressure.

Well, thanks. That's what I thought. You won't believe his EKG was normal. Doctor sent him home. He died the next day. Autopsy revealed he had an enlarged heart.

I am very sorry to hear the sad demise of your husband.

May God bless his soul.

In high blood pressure there can be enlargement of heart.

I am again sorry.
