Welcome to JA and thanks for this question. To answer your question, YES both of these drugs can prolong the QT interval on an EKG. Quetiapine can cause this to occur in less than 1% of the patients who use the drug so it is a relatively rare side effect whereas the QT prolongation can occur in up to 2-3% of the patients who use hydroxyzine. The risk of QT prolongation is higher in those patients who already have a problem with the heart such as pre-existing arrhythmias or those who already have a prolonged QT interval or those who have had previous issues with torsades points (Polymorphic ventricular tachycardia which occurs due to QT prolongation).
