Hello and welcome to Just Answer. I looking forward to assisting you with your question and providing excellent service. No they dont. Carbamazepine or tegretol can cause abnormal lipids. Not keppra.

Can you give me any idea why my Plac test is so high, there is no family history of heart problems, Mum and Dad 87 and 88 yrs old in good health, I have 5 siblings and none of them have cholesterol problems. I am at a loss to know why my readings are so high, I eat well and exercise frequently, apart from my epilepsy which is well controlled, last seizure 20 years ago, I do have pains in my arms and legs, have seen a rheumatologist but he said it is not arthritis, do any other inflammatory illnesses give high plac readings?.
