Customer Question

My blood pressure usually has been wanting 125/80. Starting about four months ago my blood pressure now fluctuates going up almost to 165/110. I can take my blood pressure four times in a row and it Will be different every time. What do you think is causing that this?

You look at the average.

If this is over 140/90 then it is high blood pressure.

The cause is usually not known, but can be from heart, kidney or hormonal disease.

See your doctor as soon as possible.

which brand blood pressure monitor would you recommend?
Expert:  DrRussMd replied 1 year ago.

I would not make a specific recommendation.

I use a manual which I trust.

Any of the pharmacy brands are reliable.

Your doctor should be helping you at this point.
