I am a family physician and I am looking study about a year

Customer Question

I am a family physician and I am looking for a study about a year ago that showed tight control of blood pressure (multi-drug use) in diabetic males with prior coronary artery disease resulted in increased mortality than regular care. The end point was
death. Study was sponsored by pharmaceutical company.

Close but no cigar" LOL
The one I am looking for involved male, smokers, diabetic, with known CAD. The end point was death. Sponsored by drug company. Big study.....say 20,000. Completed within the last 3 years.
Really bit the drug company in the behind because the three drug combo killed participants.
Ring a bell?
