I am on vacation with my 57 yr old brother who had a heart

Customer Question

I am on vacation with my 57 yr old brother who had a heart attack in June. He is on beta blockers and went to the beach yesterday for a few hrs. He used no sunblock and got a pretty good sunburn. Now today his ankles are swollen and he has pain in his legs and they are hard to the touch. He has been on his feet all day as well. What should I do?

Hi there ...

This seems to be some acute issues in joints , it would be ideal for you to start antinflamatory drugs like Tab Naproxen 220 mg two tablets twice a day and advise him for bed rest .

It would be ideal for him to see response of Naproxen , and if gradually swelling settles its ok but if within 24 hours his swelling , pain persist or increases then consult dr .

Rest of the medication he should continue .

Regards ***** ***** luck .

Please leave positive feedback for me .

Thanks .
