Hi. I just had some electrical work done on my car. I bought it used. It came with a clarion nx603 radio. Now the radio won’t work and I get a message saying anti theft systems been activated and to enter security code. I have no clue what the code would be. I never set it up. Please help.
JA: Hi. Do you have the manual for your NX603? Have you tried common default passwords (e.g. 0000 or 1234)?
Customer: No and no because at the end of the message, it has an “OK” tab for I’m guessing for you to click on and there would be a keyboard that would pop up and allow you to enter a code BUT that OK tab is subdued and nothing happens when you click on it.
JA: Is this the original unit, or an aftermarket one?
Customer: No idea. I’m guessing aftermarket.
JA: Is there anything else the Electronics Expert should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: No other than they will be dealing with a total techno phobe. LOL😎
