Hello, my name is***** will be helping you out! I have over thirteen year of experience in the automotive industry for numerous different makes & models. I enjoy doing what I do, it is my life.

Most of those codes indicate a communication failure with the abs module, but not the module as to being the issue. It has to be a wiring issue from module to the data link. I recommend inspecting the harness from module to data link. Likely harness rubbed somewhere I say common spot would be by the cylinder head near the module.

The wires look fine.
This is a picture of the wires and the lights on the dash
There may be something you can not see. I need to find out which wire is for the feed at the Obd port so you can measure the voltage. If voltage is bad at obd we need to find out if we have continuity from abs to obd port
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 26 days ago
Ok. What’s the easiest way to find that?
And could the module be bad?
It can be bad but doubtful. I’ll have to pull some diagrams when I’m near a computer which will be likely a few hours if that’s ok with you. If not I can open it back up and possibly let another expert assist you further
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 26 days ago
That’s fine. I can wait on you
Ok sounds good I’ll reply back to you as soon as I’m near my computer and at home. Sorry for the slight delay

Lets start off by checking our power and grounds. A loose ground you may have left off can cause this issue.

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 26 days ago
Just to confirm. Is this the diagram for the wire plug that connects to the ABS Module?

yes

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
Ok. Do the plug have to be connect to the ABS? And do the ignition or car need to be on while doing this test?
Ignition on abs disconnected
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
Ok. Is this diagram for the abs plug AND fuse box??
Abs plug
Ask Your Own Car Question
Some of them lead to the fuse box but the first step is to test power and ground at the abs connector
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
Ok. I test the connector, port 1 and I have power but only from the port
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
I’m confused. I test power to the abs plug. I will send a picture
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
Fuse box no powers from
Ports: 1, 2, 10, & 12
I’m sorry a little confused, your saying the fuse box has no powers or the abs connector
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
The first picture is the abs wire connector. The picture shows power. Only coming from the prong in the picture. I don’t know if that’s normal or not.
By the looks of it you are probing pin 1 which it should have voltage but 33 is unreasonably high for some reason. Assuming you have the ground on battery negative correct? Now swap the volt meter pins. Put positive to battery voltage and put negative on the same pin
Ask Your Own Car Question
Set it to v 20 by the yellow button of your volt meter and retest
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
Ok
Is the car currently running? If so then that wire looks great. Do you have a test light or no? Check the remaining wires posted for power and grounds
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
the car is running.
How do I check the other wires and how do I know what number is *****?
On the diagram, shows the number for each pin that that connector has. You are at pin 1. So either count pins or follow the picture of what pin is what and there’s arrows to check each pin
Ask Your Own Car Question
The ones that has arrows pointing tells you which ones to test and what it should be
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
I put the prong in all the holes with metal connectors on it. There is no more power. There is only power in number 1
Pin 8 should have power when running or in on position. That’s likely your problem. Either the fuse is no good or the wiring is cut somewhere
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
What fuse # is it?
You see 17? Under that is 2 then 3,4,5,6,7,8 there’s a pin on 8 and some blanks around it
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
Ok I’m double checking
First row of pins under the number 17 is pin 17, the next row is 2.3.4.5.6.7
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 25 days ago
Ok I got power on 6, 7, & 8
Send me photo of you touching pin 8 to make sure we got the right pin please
Ask Your Own Car Question
Last picture you sent is 8 and looks good. Check your grounds as well. Do you know how to do that? You can YouTube search how to check grounds on car and there will be a demonstration on how to check grounds. The link I sent you tells you which pins are ground
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 24 days ago
I checked the ground and I don’t see any issues
Customer reply replied 24 days ago
All I see is 3 ground wires on top
If all connections look good then it’s possible the abs module is indeed bad then check the data link connector each pin voltage while the abs module is disconnected and the. Recheck while it’s connected. See if you notice a voltage change
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 24 days ago
Do you have any diagram that shows where all the ground wires are?I just changed the module but do it have to be flashed or programmed?
It does need to be programmed, do you get any communication to abs module? Ground wires for abs are shown in diagram
Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 24 days ago
How do I know if I’m getting a signal ?

if you have a test light it be more productive. It will simply light up. Or with a voltmeter will show you 0.00 youtube search will show you how to test for ground with voltmeter, would you like me to find a link for you?

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 24 days ago
I tested the ground on the car but I need to test the ground on the ABS right?

No, you need to measure Voltage of each pin at the data link connector (where you hook your scanner)

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 24 days ago
Oh ok.

there will be one specific pin that is the data line for the ABS it should have 2.5v

Ask Your Own Car Question

Does the PRNDL All light up and not show shift indication?

Ask Your Own Car Question

Also do you have a scan tool capable of reading TCM codes? (Transmission Control Module)

Ask Your Own Car Question

Ask Your Own Car Question

First step locate the TCM, https://www.dropbox.com/s/omw66vhue88o78v/tcm2.pdf?dl=0 or https://www.dropbox.com/s/kjwsyudqhbrmii6/tcm1.pdf?dl=0

One of the two will be your location. Once there, access this connector here

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ywvty20sz0v2ru9/TCM%20connector.jpg?dl=0

Then, use your voltmeter to test continuity on the C + and C - wires shown on TCM connector. From ABS C+ C_, to TCM C+ C-. If one of the two wires do not have continuity, then that will be the issue. You already have ABS connector information

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 22 days ago
Ok. How do I know which one is from ABS to TCM??? Is there a certain color???
And I unplug it and check the prongs right??

White with light green & White with light blue which is pin 12 and 13 at ABS module & pins H1 and L2 at the TCM

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
Ok so it’s no fire on H & L
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
I mean it is fire

Be easy on those pins, you do not want to open them up. try using a safety pin when probing to test voltage. I see there is fire. do both H and L show that same voltage?

Ask Your Own Car Question

I need you to do a continuity test to see if it is a clear continuity from abs connector to TCM connector

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
How do I do that
Ask Your Own Car Question

ABOVE YOUR READ LEAD, ONE SPOT TO RIGHT. shows 200k 20k 200 etc then there is a symbol thats where you do continuity

Ask Your Own Car Question

then you can touch your leads together and see if it shows 0.00

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
it reads 0. Now exactly what wires am I touching?
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
Ok exactly what wires am I touching???? And how do I test from the TCM all the way to the abs

One lead to ABS connector the other to the TCM connector, as explained last night. hen, use your voltmeter to test continuity on the C + and C - wires shown on TCM connector. From ABS C+ C_, to TCM C+ C-. If one of the two wires do not have continuity, then that will be the issue. You already have ABS connector information

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
basically do I put the positive tester on the TCM pin and the negative on the ABS pin?

YUP but on the same circuit from one side to other

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
Ok.

yup

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
For the ABS connector how do I know which prong is 12 and 13?
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
I found it. Both c+ and c- went to 0 so that means no breaks right

then they are talking to each other, going back to when we started, we checked all our grounds correct? at the abs module?

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
I only see 3 ground wires.

pin 16, does it have ground at abs module? Also passenger side strut tower, make sure that ground is not loose

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 21 days ago
How do I check the ground for pin 16?

Do you have a test light?

The transmission does go into limp mode. But I will have to figure out how i can use another scanner like this bc this is the only Tech scanner I have

There has to be a way to get the ECM codes. it reads there is a fault but says can not establish, thats weird.

Good news.... I found a hot wire the connects to the OBD plug touching metal.
I fixed the wire ran the test. I did the esp test to intialize the anti brakes. All the lights are off except the air bag

Wow so wiring on obd port, did you ever give me the voltage reading of each pin at port in the past conversation when I asked? Don't think so right, as for your code. Did you replace the fuse box under hood (TIPM)

Ask Your Own Car Question

Will the scanner let me know the vin on the module?
And
Every time I do the ESP it says pass but as soon as i drive the lights come on.
it will. And possibly speed sensor bad look at the data stream of each speed sensor and see how the graph looks
