This is because of crankshaft moving and causing the front main seal to push out

Hi, my name is***** you can install a full flange thrust bearing as long as the engine block is machined to accept the bearing. Also, check the thrust face on the crankshaft for wear. If you have excessive end play more than likely the thrust face is damaged.
