Customer Question
I have a 2004...

I have a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero that runs good most of the time. Other times, while driving it, I will lose some power (highest speed is 55 mph). And it get's loud and there is a vibration, especially felt in the passenger side floorboard. Any ideas, could it be the coil packs?

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Alero yourself? What have you tried so far?

I've taken it in for a diagnostic, but it's intermitten, so I can't get it diagnosed. I checked and replaced transmission fluid. Right befor eI had a problem, I had changed the O2 sensor and cadilatic convertor.

Mechanic's Assistant: When was the last time your transmission fluid was checked? Changed?
