On 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood...

On 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood brought, the Instrument Panel lights went dead. I can't see the speedometer or gas gauge or the mileage. I checked the a/c volts on the battery when running and it was 30.2 v.

Mechanic's Assistant: Does the battery look like it's leaking? And does it have a strong smell -- like sulfur?

The battery is brand new, about 5 days old, no maintenance battery for walmart

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Fleetwood yourself? What have you tried so far?

I do some fixing from time to time

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I checked the headlight switch and it has no problem, and checked for bad fuse and couldn't find a bad fuse

O​kay that is good to know. If everything else is working then we have a power issue or the cluster has died. Give me just a minute to pull up the schematics and I will see what we have to test out

I was pulled into it in a tricky way. But it's not too late. I just do not trust JA. Last time they charged my card more than agreed and they made me super mad. So they shouldn't charge my card at all this time.
