The intake valves are the ones in front of the intake runners. That being said the 2.8 uses hydraulic valve lifters to keep all parts of the valve train in constant contact. Each lifter is an automatic adjuster maintaining proper lash adjustment under all conditions. No routine adjustment is necessary.
