I have a 2008 Range Rover and I’m having suspension fault…

Customer Question
I have a 2008...

I have a 2008 Range Rover and I’m having suspension fault popping up in the message. I tried to drive slowly and if I go a little faster, then I get the message stating 30mph max or vehicle will lower. Another message that comes up states, suspension will rise when vehicle cools” but for the past 48hrs it’s still giving me the same message and my vehicle is lowered that it can’t rise up and there is a hissing noise by the front passenger side. Is this something serious and is it going to be expensive to fix.

Mechanic's Assistant: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?

The noise is coming from the front passenger side, I would say by the tires and it states vehicle rising slowly.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Range Rover yourself? What have you tried so far?

No, I’m taking it to the dealership but I just want to know if this is going to cost a lot to fix

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I believe that’s all

hey how are you , I will try to help you with this issue ,we ether have a bad air compressor or we have air leak on the air struts

we will need a factory scanner or equivalent to read suspension fault codes and based on those we can troubleshoot correctly

we have few sensors involved to

but lets try a master reset first in case was glitch and we go from there

Master reset Procedure

1- Disconnect Battery Cables ( Negative & Positive Cables )you can use any electrical wire as an extension if battery cables don't reach .

2- Hold cables Together for 60 secs ,then let go

3- Wait 30 minutes

4- Make sure all doors are closed

5- Reconnect battery Cables

6- Lock & unlock the vehicles using the key from driver door side (if you have a key fob with no blade key, just lock & unlock using the key fob buttons)

7- Enter the vehicle and attempt to start

Please let me know

Thank You
