I have a 2006 Suzuki Swift and I can't seem to get my key

Customer Question

I have a 2006 Suzuki Swift and I can't seem to get my key out of the ignition after putting the cqar in Park and shutting it off
JA: Do you have brake lights? Have any trouble codes popped up?
Customer: no trouble codes
JA: Are you fixing your Swift yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I've just got through the manual and have tried a Suzuki dealer garage mechanic and he hasn't heard of the problem. It seems that if I leave the key in on the Accessory the battery will lose power in about two days and when it does, the key pops out
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, I just want to rectify the problem

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose). I'm here to help 365 days a year, but not every hour of the day. I try to prevent delays as much as possible. Please understand I am not there and can only advise based on what you tell me. Let's get started.

I have found out as I am helping all the customers whom have waited to long. Many no longer needed help. If you still need help let me know.
