Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

Oh these are Home Flood lights? Do you have the lights on a Dimmer switch?

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
lights on Dimmer switch
Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

When you tap down the dimmer switch, does the lights stop flickering?

Ask Your Own Car Question
Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

Do they only flicker when you have the lights all the way up?

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
I thought maybe light bulb itself but when I reduced numbers of lightbulbs they stop blinking
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
they blink when light all the way up, i got 16 on one dimmer with condense bolbs did not have this problem
Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

I had the same issue. I put LED flood light bulbs in my kitchen, and actually I changed out the actual dimmer switch to resolve my issue. But before I did that, I did the same thing to make them stop flickering.

Ask Your Own Car Question
Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

If you update your dimmer switch, that should resolve your issue.

Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

I don't know what type of dimmer you have exactly. I just simply changed to a more up to date dimmer on mine and it resolve it and have not had any issues since.

Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

But when you have a light switch theme, you want to stick with what you have.

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
yeh I want to keep the same view, because i have two of them but only one causing trouble
Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

It could be trial and error to find the right dimmer switch. I am not a light switch expert..lol.. But what I would do is stop by the Home Depot and speak with one of their electrical specialist and let him suggest which updated dimmer switch will work for you.

They are a 65 watt bulb. What are yours exactly?

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
i got 9w LEDs BR 30 so 16 of them would requere 144wat just by the border, I might need higher wattage right?
Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

Yeah... That is what it is sounding like..

Ask Your Own Car Question
Customer reply replied 1 year ago
mine is BR 30, 65w replacement with 9w I believe, I don't want to go with BR 40 because most light bulbs I have BR30
Auto Mechanic: Jay, ASE Certified Technician replied 1 year ago

Those I just posted to you are 13W / 65w BR30's that are dimmable.
