Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose), my normal schedule online is around lunch and after dinner till early morning, central time.

.

Which gaskets are failing?

Are you leaking coolant inside or outside of the engine?

This vehicle did not have a V6 option but it did have a in line 6 option.

Head gaskets, yes it's leaking coolant

A head gasket leak can be addressed with just new gaskets. You can also have the heads reworked while off to get some life back to the engine. SO far these are not signs of the engine needing to be replaced or completely rebuilt. If you were to replace the engine I recommend you find a refurbished long block which will mean your pretty much installing an engine into the truck like the first day it was made.
