I have a Honda Euro Luxury model 1993 model and the battery

Customer Question

I have a Honda Euro Luxury model 1993 model and the battery is flat. I am trying to charge it with a Pro-Charge 6 stage switched charger but do not know if it is 4 amp or 8 amp. On 4 amp no charge is apparent after 15 hours. Can you help please?
JA: Have you checked all the fuses? Do you have a wiring diagram?
Customer: Where would the fuses be?
JA: What is the model/year of your Honda?
Customer: 1993
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have tried to charge it with the Projecta battery charger set on Normal but nothing has happened in the last 15 hours.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Is the battery type for that model 4 amp or 8 amp?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

I'm not 100% sure exactly what you're dealing with after reading your post a couple times but you've posted your question in the car category so I'm assuming you have a 1993 Honda Accord Euro. If you're trying to charge an automotive battery that's completely dead you're going to need the capability of at least 20 amps, and depending on the condition of the battery you may not be able to charge it at all.

Are you trying to charge an automotive battery?
