I need an information regarding brake pad worn out light on a 2012 458Italia. If brake pads are replaced does the light go off or does it need to be reset by a tester?
JA: Have you checked the brake fluid? How's the level and when was it last changed?
Customer: level ok
JA: What is the make/model of your car?
Customer: 2012 458 Italia
JA: Are you fixing your 458 Italia yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, brake pads are changed light didn`t go off

Hello and welcome to just answer. I will need to ask you questions toi better help you. Did the new pads you installed have the low indicator wiring attatched to them and attatched to the vehicle?

thanx for that info,disconnect the battery for about 1 min to cancel the code and if that don;t work you may have to use a scanner to reset ,

I had a chance to talk to a ferrari technician and he confirmed that no tester is neccessary for brake pad change.
