I have a 2001 kia rio with a p1780 code, the car was running

Customer Question

I have a 2001 kia rio with a p1780 code, the car was running fine then died and won't start now. I have replaced the coil and crank sensor and still nothing. The shifter knob was loose and I put it back on and it started acting up. I'm not sure where to start looking for the problem.
JA: Does the vehicle stall at low speeds? Does it sputter?
Customer: nope
JA: Are you fixing your Rio yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes I am, I have replaced the coil, crank sensor and a few fuses
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: nope think that's all
