I am looking for Suzuki Mechanic with a lot of knowledge with a 2008 XL7 LIMITED 3.6
Codes for throttle position sensor on the pedal
Replaced this pedal sensor and replaced throttle body Also code will not clear in which causing illuminating engine light.
causing reduce power failure / no pedal acceleration/
stability control lost /etc
Any ideals how to clear these codes
Any way to reset EMC
Thinking EMC needs to be reprogrammed

But its not the trotttlle body position sensor something eles is causing this problem and voltage is stable.

Do you have a scan tool with live date .

If yes check TPS 1 and 2 voltage should not be over 4.6 volts .

The following has to be meet for an automatic self relearn .

Accelerator pedal must be at14.9% or less or will not relearn. You will have to check the pedal sensor .

If original parts where not used this could also be your problem .live data .

WOT you should have (TP1)4.9 volts Closed throttle you should have (TP2) 4.9volts

If outside this voltage check wiring connections and installation of APP and throttle body .

All parts OEM then check the voltage in

The P0123 and P0223 are codes for short to voltage .

If all checks out correct you will need to have the ECM reflashed .
