Hello Jimmy and Thank you for your question,

Is your Sun roof an OEM factory unit or an aftermarket install?

Unfortunately I have no information on this one. I do have the factory adjustment steps for the OEM Sunroof but Im not sure they would be the same for the add on unit.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The problem may be mechanical or electrical. The glass may not be closing properly because of a failure with the guides and it's physically unable to close properly, or the module that controls it may think the glass is actually closed when it is not. This unit does look to have obstacle detection and programmable opening positions.

Is the glass tight if you try to move it up and down by hand?

Do both sides move together in unison when opening and closing?
