Chev silverado: I have a 09 Silverado with traction control,

Customer Question

I have a 09 Silverado with traction control, when I make turns at intersections there is a rumbling sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. could this be an axle problem?

Noise when turning is typically a differential problem. Have you had the fluid in the differential replaced recently? If so it's possible that the wrong fluid type was used. If it's never been changed, it probably would be a good place to start. Changing the fluid will also give you a chance to look for metal fragments in the fluid which would indicate a larger problem.
