I have a 2010 Range Rover supercharged. While accelerating

Customer Question

I have a 2010 Range Rover supercharged. While accelerating yesterday i hear a thud followed by a check engine light and restricted performance message. I make it 5mi to gas station where i notice a lot of grey/white smoke coming from exhaust. Engine would not restart after turning off. Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks in advance

I see fuel injector issues on these vehicles where in some cases they fail and dump fuel into the engine which can cause this. Another possibility is the engine overheated from possibly a failed water pump. First check the oil level through the cluster service menu and also check the level in the coolant tank to make sure it is not low. Let me know.
