The process for diagnosing a missing cylinder/misfire on a 1997 Ford explorer 4.0 SOHC

Hi. Do you have a check engine light on? Do you know what cylinder is misfiring? Have you replaced any parts yet?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Two and four are misfiring I believe is possibly an injector and the plugs were replaced a month ago

You can swap the injectors and see if the misfire changes to different cylinders. Then you could switch plugs and wires also if needed.

Wires I can do changing the injectors I was looking for something more simple than that that sounds very very taxing
