good afternoon my name is ***** ***** I will assist
can I have the vehicle info???? year, make, model, engine please???
ok, check the diagrams I sent you to see if you have any power to the system
if you have a test light or voltmeter, test the fuse that controls the lock system. you can also remove the power door lock control and test for power to the switch
ok, there is a pink with light green stripe on the drivers door lock switch. that should have 12 volts
the signal comes from the security module. do you have any access to a scan tool???
that is just a code reader with no live data we need to monitor the system activity.
it seems you have an issue with the security module. it is most likely the issue but without a scan tool to verify, it is a guess
the relay is in the module. the module is in the right side lick panel.
fuse 25 in central junction box. it is a 7.5 amp fuse
yes, I checked it. does your code reader read body codes??? most of the code readers only read P codes for the engine system
you have just given me new info you did not post before about hearing the noises. this would have helped in the brginning. yes, the module is working. this may be indicating an issue with the door lock actuators.
I would remove the door panels and check for voltage to the actuators.
drivers as it is the most used
no, not for removal
post a oicture of the panel for me
the actuator is on the bottom of the door. with all connectors connected, was there power to the actuator??
use your test light or voltmeter to see if voltage is present when you press the lock and unlock button. you must re connect the wire harness.
you can remove the connector from the actuator and probe and wires in the connector
if you have power at the switch as you indicated then the switch is bad because it is not sending a signal
the voltage changes in the lock mode. power and ground are reversed.
yep, as I stated before, if you had voltage to the actuator and it did not work, the power door lock switch is bad and needs to be replaced.
did you re check for voltage???
the same place you checked before from the switch to the actuator
