My son told me the lubricant in the gaitor on the inner cv

Customer Question

my son told me the lubricant in the gaitor on the inner cv joint is not the same as the poly grease in the outer joint he said it is like a thick oil almost syrupy.

I'd say it is the factory lubricant, they use a less expensive grease (and lower quality) on the inner joints to cut manufacturing costs.

No harm in using a Lith/Moly grease or even Moly only.
