Have a 2006 Pontiac Montana - 2 wheel dr - 3.5L engine.

Customer Question

Have a 2006 Pontiac Montana -*****- 3.5L engine. Replacing front wheel & hub Assy.
Followed the instruction in Chilton manual. Have the hub loose but can't pull it all the way off the spline. I have tried a puller, a slide hammer, a 3 lb hammer. In desperation I hooked up a puller and chain to a hydraulic jack and all I did was move the whole car. Please is there anyone who can tell why the hub will not come off. I have repeated the removal instruction from the book 5 time just to make sure I haven't missed any steps.

Hi there, Can you possibly send a photo?
Are you stuck on the axle shaft or in the spindle assembly?
