Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you. Most overheat issues are causes by a sticking thermostat. A leaking water pump, that causes the coolant to leak out, can and will cause an overheat condition. It is hard to say without seeing the vehicle in person. However, the thermostat is usually the most likely suspect and relatively inexpensive to replace.
