Customer Question

I'm thinking of buying a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo, I drove it, and the only problems I noticed were the AC compressor was noisy when engaged, but it cooled well, and quieted down after a while, should I be worried? and the brakes worked well but felt a little spongy, the pads looked new and the rotors looked good as far as I can tell, is there an adjustment for the brakes to make them a little more effective?

Hi there,

The A/c could be over or under charged, or it could have a failing compressor.

So I would be concerned as well.

The back brakes are prone to not being adjusted well, they do have fairly good brakes when the rears work more efficiently.

I would also check and adjust front wheel bearings, the fronts work better as well with correctly adjusted bearings.
