my van pulls left when braking. replaced pads rotors.

2002 chevy astro. when we replaced rotors and pads I couldn't afford both rotors so only replaced one the right one and mechanic said this would happen. so then replaced left rotor and we stillhave the problem

ok, you are correct. you do not have to replace both rotors, just the one that is damaged. my thoughts are brake hoses. one may be collapsed not allowing proper fluid flow and causing un even braking. another possibility is some thing with the rear brakes. if you have a froen wheel cylinder or caliper if they are disc it will cause a pull in the front end.
