how do I take out heater controls for a Suzuki forenza 2007?

Hello, I am Randall. I do not remember the exact location of the mode door lever, but,, in order to get the panel off, you must unhook the mode door cable on the housing end so the trim/panel can be pulled back more then once it is pulled back? you undo the temp control cable from back of control unit and the electrical plugs, What you need to do is turn the mode dial. vent. defrost ect, locate that lever under dash along side of the hvac case, undo the cable from that lever so the trim can be pulled back to gain more access, Basically what is preventing you from pulling back more is the mode cable must be disconnected first
