Hello I will help you with you question,
First what is the vehicle and the engine size?
Next can you see copper wire where it was chewed off?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
2007 F150 5.4 ford. the end of the wire is visible but very frayed.

I can't get to it to put a butt splice on
Expert:  George H. replied 2 years ago.
If the end is visible it can be soldered, butt splices are a poor connection but solder with heat shrink will make a lasting connection.
If you slip a piece of heat shrink on the injector side of the wire then tin both ends including what you can see you can then melt the ends as you hold them together then slip the heat shrink over the connection and heat it to shrink it around the wire.
Please let me know how I can help you with this
