Porsche 911 Carrera S: 2010 Carrera S - Warning came on, Transmission

This answer was rated:

2010 Carrera S - Warning came on, Transmission Temperature Too High, it then went off after a couple of minutes. What is the problem and what do I need to do?
hi was the car been driven for a long time or was it been use for head or track driving ?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

None of the above, regular in town driving for about 20 minutes

you may have a trans temp sensor that is going bad causing the light to come on if you any do regular driving then the trans itself should not overheat ,you should first have the trans fluid level check . if that is fine have the car scan for code . you fine that you have a code for the temp sensor if that is the case you will need to replace the sensor .
