i have a 2001 daewood nubira se ther's a recall on camshaft position sensor how do i get car fixed

Being there are no longer any Daewoo dealerships, you will not be able to have this repair done for free. Only option is to visit an auto parts store and purchase a new sensor. I have the repair procedure listed below. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Removal procedure





  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Disconnect the sensor electrical connector.


4. Remove the timing belt front cover. Refer to DOHC Engine Mechanical.

5. Remove the camshaft position sensor bolts.

6. Remove the camshaft position sensor from the top.


Installation procedure


Install the camshaft position sensor and bolts. Tighten Tighten the camshaft position sensor bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb-in)




  1. Install the timing belt front cover, the crankshaft pulley, the accessory drive belt, and the air filter. Refer to DOHC Engine Mechanical.
  2. Connect the sensor electrical connector.
  3. Install the engine cover.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
