Holden Colorado: previously fitted airbags just got lift kit

This answer was rated:

previously fitted airbags just got lift kit suspension 50 lift will airbags still work as they dont register anything on gauge although look like they have air in them

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

Without knowing what bags you have on it and how much of a lift was installed it's hard to say for sure whether the bags will still work, but most likely they will. Most airbags give a very large range of height travel and unless they are very small bags, on this compact truck any airbag should still work with a couple inches of suspension lift.

The increased height will definitely require more air in the system to extend the bags further. If you don't measure any pressure in the bags then add some air in small increments starting at 10-15 PSI and see if it holds, it's possible that you could have a leak if there was air before but not now. If you find that it will hold the 10-15 PSI then go ahead and add air until the suspension is at the height you want it.
