Hi. I understand you charged the a/c system on your Jeep. When the a/c is commanded on, does the clutch on the end of the a/c compressor turn on and off? You should be able to see it as well as hear it click on and off. Thanks, Eric

yes it works

Ok. The most common problem is the blend door actuator. It controls the door inside the heater box that directs heat or cool air into the truck. You can locate the blend door actuator under the dash and watch the shaft in and see if it is moving when you adjust the temperature. If not the actuator has probably failed.
Please let me know if you need more info. Thanks, Eric

if it has failed, what are my options?

If it has failed you can just replace it. Or do nothing at all. I am not really sure of another other options than that. If you have any more questions please ask me. Thanks, Eric
