Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo: How can I tell if its the actuator

This answer was rated:

How can I tell if its the actuator or the blend doors that are the problem when the passenger side and rear vents blow warm air but the driver side blows cold air? I have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee laredo. Where is the actuator and blend doors located?
Hi. To check if the concern is with the actuator or the door, you need to remove the actuator for the passenger side and work the door manually. If the temperature changes and the door moves freely then the problem is with the actuator.
In the picture #5's are the blend door actuator locations.
Please let me know if you need more info. Thanks, Eric
