lndcruiser FJj75: The diaphragm/mixer is icing up and the vehicle

This answer was rated:

The diaphragm/mixer is icing up and the vehicle will not run can you advise thank you .
Hello and welcome!,

My apologies for the delay, thank you for your patience.

Let's get to the root of this problem:
you get ice, or very low temperatures whenever too much gas is being sent through the mixer, or if the mixer is partially restricted (too much high pressure on one side, and low on the other), or if the gas used is not meant to be used.
Accordingly, i would first check for any small leaks within the engine, causing too much gas being withdrawn, and then double check the gas quality (make sure you are filling up to norm gas), and if the problem persists, i would then check or replace the mixer.

Kindly get back to me with your findings, or if further info is needed.
