Hello, it would be my pleasure to assist you. I am ASE certified in electrical and electronics with around 15 years in the field. With that said I would recommend the lead solder over the lead free. It is a little more forgiving as far as far as ones soldering skills are concerned and will also have a lot lower chance of producing "Cold" solder joints. If I can assist you further please reply.
