2001 vw jetta 2.o liter code p0171 p0507 p0300 p0302 p0304 car does not run in morning starts and stops wont idle surges up and down would this be idle air control ? would it be dirty 300000 ks where is it
Hi Randy ..

This is a good possibility that the throttle body is dirty and needs cleaning with you having ,
I would start there first if you see that the plate is dirty clean with a good throttle body cleaner .

But here is why you have the code P0507 .

EGR valve leaking vacuum
Damaged,failed,dirty throttle body
Failed EVAP system
A faulty positive crankcase ventilation valve
Failed IAC or faulty IAC circuit
A vacuum leak Leaking air intake after the throttle body.

With you having the P0300 P0302 P0304, misfire codes, i would first check for vacuum leaks ,vacuum hose disconnect damaged etc .

Inlet manifold is a common issue for these codes .

Check the condition of the spark plugs .

Remember the P0507 is tripped when your engine management system see's that the engine rpm 200 rpm higher than normal idle ,so this is why the dirty plate or vacuum leak should be checked first .

Need further assistance then please get back to me with the reply box and not the poor or bad service button .
