Isuzu Trooper LS: Vehicle: 1995 Isuzu Trooper 3.2 SOHC. V-Belt

This answer was rated:

Vehicle: 1995 Isuzu Trooper 3.2 SOHC. V-Belt setup. Alternator located on passenger side, right under power steering pump. Getting overvoltages so want to bench test alternator. Cannot get access to electrical connections at back of alternator. Chiltons has not diagram or procedure for this setup. Alternator is currently unbolted but cannot wiggle it out. (Was hoping I could move things enough to get to the wires.) Can get fingers on the connector but can't see it or tell what I'm dealing with back there! What's the proper procedure for doing this? Advice?

Alternator comes out from below and is accessed from below with engine splash shield(undercover removed). It is tight but doable.
