How do I fix my rear passenger side window
in my 2007 Saturn Ion 2? I would only roll down and now it is stuck open
Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If it would roll down but not up then you either have a switch or wiring problem, assuming there is no noise from the motor when trying to roll it up. If you do hear it trying to work but the window won't move then you have a bad motor or mechanical problem in the door.

Most likely you aren't hearing anything from the motor with the switch in the up position. If it won't go up either from the master switch or the one on the passenger door then it's going to be a master switch problem or wiring issue.

When you open the door take a look between the front of the door and the body and you will see a black rubber boot. Inside this boot is the wiring harness that goes between the body harness and the door. Each time the door moves this wiring flexes and can eventually break. It's likely that you have a broken wire in either the driver or passenger door boot.
