Hello, welcome to Just Answer/Pearl. My name isXXXXX will
do my very best to assist you with your question today.

What color is the smoke?

Does the engine knock all the time, does it get louder with increased RPM'S?

Do you know what the current oil pressure is?

How many miles are on the vehicle?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Hi Mike and thanks for you help.

The smoke is like clear blue. the engine only knock on low RPM. the angle timing is 800 RPM 15 c and 36 c on 2000 RPM?. The check engine light is flashing. P0300, P0430, P1350 comes ON .The Oil control valve has to be calibrate or something? thank you.

Ok has a compression test or cylinder leak down test been performed on this engine?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

no. I only clean the oil control valve and new intake manifold gasket but there where a lot oil in the intake?

Ok,the oil in the intake is not a good sign. What I would suggest as a next step before replacing anything is to things.First a compression and cylinder leak down test.2nd to check that the oil pick up screen inside the oil pan is not restricted as this was a issue with these engines.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

ok i will test the cylinders compression. thank you
