wipers start up on their own and cant be shut off, we have already replaced the switch. Sometimes it comes on at low speed and sometimes high speed. Most of the time it actually works correctly.

2003 Pontiac Bonneville 90,000 miles approx. 3800 V6. Have already replaced the wiper switch assembly and it worked perfectly right away then ten minutes later the wipers came on on their own again.

if you unplug the wiper switch when they are on when the wiper switch is set to off will they stop wiping ?

since the wiper switch is new inspect the wiring to the motor if the wiring to the motor and the wiper swithc looks goof there is a bad wiper motor in this car
replacing the wiper motor should correct this problem
