I have a 1989 Mazda b2600i, that will turn over, but not fire and start. We have replaced the computer and igniter. It has good gas flow and the filter was replaced. It has power to and from coil as wellas power inside the distributor. But it has no spark.I was driving it, it sputtered, so I pulled over, turned it off and since then it won't start. Can you please help
does the rotor in the distributer turn when you turn the engine?rmove the cap and check..
if not, your timing chain may have broken...let me know

This diagram does not match what is in my truck( I just bought it 6 months ago), on further investigation the motor appears to be a 1991 not a 1989. Sorry for the confusion.

first check all fuses....
on your 90'smodel,,it will have a crank angle sensor....

you may concider replacing the complete distributer with a new rebuilt unit

Thank you very much for your help, it was the crank angle sensor. We did have to purchase the whole distributor as we were unable to buy just the sensor.
