Glad to be of help. What style body, coupe, 4dr sedan or convertible?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I assumed that the #(50) indicated a 4 door sedan W/bench front seat.

Keep in mind, a vehicle is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay. To some it is worth more and to others it is worth less. These are the going market prices for each model. These are all 1939 La Salle 50 series .

The 4 door touring sedan is worth 35,000 if it looks like this:

Here's one for sale listed at $29,500 at this link:

The listings provided were ones that I already found on the computer. Some of the listings did not meet my request or information

In my opinion your car is worth $30,000 according to what you have told me. I am a licensed appraiser and it is what it is. A vehicle is worth what a buyer is willing to pay. It's unfortuate but a fact that most vehicles that are restored end up costing more to restore them than what they can be sold for afterwards. When you restore a vehicle the main purpose is to keep that vehicle because it means so much to you. Restoring is not for making money. I know of at least six other 1939 la Salle 4 door sedans selling for slightly less in the same condition your vehicle is.
